Women's Workwear Jumpsuit, 1910s WWI

Women's Workwear Jumpsuit, 1910s WWI

$1,850.00

Amazing and super rare women’s workwear circa 1917. WWI era likely worn in factory work to support the war effort. Tan cotton twill with riveted buttons. Buttons read “Ward Co, New London Ohio,” made by CE Ward Co, a uniform company. Buttons up front and across back waist. Hem buttons allow them to be worn knee length or ankle length as desired. Side pockets, snap fly. Normal wear as shown — some minor discoloration, scuffs, two buttons missing (one on pant cuff and one on back side), a few very small holes.. Very strong and wearable. Heavy sturdy fabric that’s been washed and worn to the point of utter comfiness. True color is tan khaki, not quite as red-hued as it photographed. Similar period examples shown in last two photos.
