Rare 1910s era “Beauty Spots”—faux beauty marks, or "mouches" (French for "flies"), in original tin. These were inspired by the beauty patch craze of the 18th century, which made a comeback in the early 20th century. These beauty spots were made by Johnson & Johnson and come in their original tin. Inside are the original beauty marks in different shapes and sizes including hearts, squares, circles, clovers, and crescent moons. I believe this is a full tin—there are easily hundreds of beauty spots inside. Tin has great design and graphics. Normal wear and overall aged patina as pictured.
