Rare 1920s stenciled silk velvet evening bag, likely Gallenga or Fortuny. Features stunning swan motif. Drawstring top with burnt orange cord and orange glass accents at the ends. Fully lined in burnt orange silk. Measures approx 9" x 9.5" not including cord. Excellent condition for age with some minor color variance and some rough pale surface spots towards front bottom. See photos. The silk is strong and in fantastic shape. Some wear to glass ends of cords with a chip at side of one of the large circles.
