Rare precious handmade doll circa 1920s. She has a crocheted body with hand-painted lipstick and blush and embroidered eyes nose eyelashes and eyebrows. The handwork on this piece is astonishing. All hand stitched. She is 12" tall. Her clothing is made of silk, net, and satin. So delicate. Incredible care was taken in every single detail of this doll and her clothing. I encourage you to zoom in on the photos because she is a work of art. Tiny little shoes stitched of wool with satin heels and tiny little faux leather bows. Everything is sheer or cream colored with black embroidered accents. Even her undergarments are perfection - she has little net tap shorts and back seam stockings. Her hands even have tiny crocheted fingers. Incredibly she is in near mint condition for her age. A few tiny faint marks, one tiny hole to her sheer silk chiffon blouse. I am amazed by her. One of the most stunning items I have had the pleasure of studying.
